LU Farmers Market

When:  Saturday, December 14 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Where: Suite B, Lorenzo J. Greene Hall, 900 Leslie Boulevard in beautiful Jefferson City, MO

Just in time for the holidays, we will offer a variety of handmade crafts created by our Sprouts and Roots program participants, vendors from our Farmers’ Market and members of the Lincoln University Community.

The Saturday Sale will coincide with our December Farmers’ Market Drop Off. You may pre-order locally raised meats, produce, coffee, and baked goods from our vendors. Check out the “shopping list” here. It will be available Friday, December 6.

No need to pre-order the crafts! Seniors in our Sprouts and Roots program are creating natural holiday decorations from native plants – they are quite lovely. All proceeds from the sale of these items will help support our program.

Youth in the Sprouts and Roots program will be offering items they have created themselves. Come support these young entrepreneurs.

Several of our regular market vendors will be offering crafts as well – handmade, local and fair trade items will be available.

So even if you aren’t ordering food this time around, come by and check out the crafts. We hope to make this an annual tradition!

Sprouts and Roots is a Lincoln University Cooperative Extension Program for youth and older adults
