LU Farmers Market

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE LU FARMERS’ MARKET FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 20TH.

TIME: 10:30 – 11:30 am

LOCATION: At the market (look for the sign that reads “Learning opportunities”).

TOPIC: Fruit Tree Care and Maintenance – Tips for properly pruning fruit trees and how to care for them.  Discussion topics will include disease identification, disease management, and tips for proper pruning to get the most production from your tree.

PRESENTER: Martha O’Connor – Extension Technician

Educational booth: Native Plant Program (every week)

Music: Mike Gorman

 

Here are some of the market goods you can find this coming Saturday, and much more. Look for Father’s Day Specials!

Ø  Gluten-free muffins, bread, ezekiel bread, cookies, lemon poppyseed, banana nut bread

Ø  Maguettes (mini-baguettes), spent grain loaf, and focaccia bread
