LU Farmers Market

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE LU FARMERS’ MARKET FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 27TH.

TIME: 10:30 – 11:30 am

LOCATION: At the market (look for the sign that reads “Learning opportunities”).

TOPIC: Tomato Pruning and Vegetable Care – Learn how to care for and maintain your garden to increase yield and keep diseases at bay.

PRESENTER: r. Zelalem Mersha – Plant Pathologist

Educational booth: Native Plant Program (every week)

Music: Mike Gorman

 

Here are some of the market goods you can find this coming Saturday, and much more. Happy Summer!

  • Blueberries

  • Goat milk fudge and caramels

  • Potatoes

  • Cookies, sweet and spicy pecans, beets, lettuce mix

  • Gluten-free muffins, bread, Ezekiel bread, cookies, lemon poppy seed, banana nut bread

  • Maguettes (mini-baguettes), spent grain loaf, and focaccia bread

  • Beets (red, golden and baby beets), salad mix, Swiss chard
